Dear Reader,
I’m following up on my last update on the MightyFly Reg CF offering, which I published on December 13th, which you can find right here.
I’ve confirmed with the CEO that the deal will be officially closing tomorrow night (Thursday) at 11:59 PM Pacific time.
If you missed the update on the 13th, I strongly recommend reading it, as the latest developments at MightyFly have a material impact on the investment… in a positive way.
In my original research on MightyFly, I focused primarily on the commercial applications of the company’s autonomous aerospace technology in the logistics and distribution industry, as that is where MightyFly has already experienced more than $200 million of commercial traction in the form of LOIs and signed deals.
But in addition to private sector opportunities, MightyFly has been making incredible progress with Department of Defense related business opportunities.
It has already qualified for a $15 million opportunity with the U.S. Air Force STRATFI program.
STARTFI is the Strategic Funding Increase program, which is a part of the U.S. Air Force’s venture and innovation arm known as AFWERX.
The whole mission of AFWERX is to accelerate the adoption of advanced technologies for the U.S. Air Force, and MightyFly has the support already from three Air Force generals.
Along those lines, MightyFly has already successfully completed Phase II of an Air Force small business innovation research (SBIR) project and been paid $1.25 million for doing so.
For those that would like to read more about this, here is a link to an article about MightyFly’s Phase II contract with the Air Force, and there is a nice embedded video at the bottom of MightyFly’s autonomous aircraft in operation.
It doesn’t take much imagination at all after watching the video to see how valuable this kind of autonomous eVTOL solution would be in providing real-time logistics support to the military, especially in hard to reach locations. There is certainly a multi-billion market opportunity in defense-related business alone.
Next year, which is weeks away, is the year that MightyFly commercializes and monetizes its technology. This is a great time to invest, as the technological risk is no longer a factor (already proven), and the company is on the cusp of commercialization, so it’s all about growth.
We’re less than 36 hours away from the deal closing. Please make sure to have a look if you’re interested. After closing, the deal will no longer be accessible on Republic. The deal page will be taken offline at 11:59 PM Pacific time.
It’s taking off.
